11:13 AM January 06, 2023

The OnePlus 11 smartphone will launch on January 9, 2022, but only for China. Yet, it reportedly surpassed the brand’s pre-sales records within a couple of hours.

The news comes from OnePlus China President Li Jie. Based on this sales performance, we may expect the upcoming gadget to be an apparent success for the company.

While responding to a Weibo user, the executive mentioned that it would not have a “Pro” model. Yet, the features speak for its top-tier quality.

It is a 4 nm chip with four different cores. The main core is a 3.2 GHz Arm Cortex X3. Also, it will use a pair of Cortex A715 and Cortex 710 chips for medium-duty performance.

Lastly, the OnePlus 11 uses three Cortex A510-R1 cores for background processing.

According to Ars Technica, you may choose 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage for your OnePlus 11.

Regardless, it will have a 5,000 mAh battery and a 6.7-inch 120 Hz display with 3216×1440 OLED resolution.

OnePlus fans expect super-fast charging, and the 11 delivers. The upcoming phone will have 100 W charging, allowing it to reach full battery capacity in 25 minutes.

Last but not least, the OnePlus 11 uses three rear cameras. These include a 50 MP main camera, a 49 MP ultrawide, and a 32 MP 2x optical telephoto.

The front camera is 16 MP, but it promises an improved haptic system 67% larger than the OnePlus 10’s.

The Chinese price starts at CNY 3,999 or $580, but it would likely be more expensive in other countries. The global release date is on February 7.

Conclusion

OnePlus 11 will be an early treat for Chinese smartphone buyers before the Chinese New Year. A month later, it will become available in other countries.

It is not the only smartphone release exclusive to China. For example, the Huawei Pocket S is a budget foldable phone that has not yet been launched worldwide.
