Wedding goes viral with groom wearing Apple Vision Pro
A wedding is a magical moment for two people when they promise to love and cherish each other for the rest of their lives. That includes our future, which is becoming more dominated by technologies like artificial intelligence and virtual reality.
One groom from the US state of Utah decided to prove that point on his wedding day.
Self-proclaimed “tech evangelist” Jacob Wright wore his Apple Vision Pro headset in his wedding photos. As a result, he and Cambree Wright became trending on X, gaining over 360,000 views since sharing their magical moment on February 10, 2024.

The website of the TODAY TV show reported on Jacob Wright’s odd wedding attire. The software engineer said he previously talked to his now-wife Cambree about wearing his Apple Vision Pro headset in their wedding photos.
“I’d been, like, trying to convince her like, ‘it’d be so fun,’ and ‘it’d be such a good meme’ because I kind of felt it would go viral,” the techie husband explained.
Cambree hesitated, but Jacob proceeded with his wacky plan after the official ceremony.

“I had my Apple Vision Pro in the car, so while my wife was doing her bridal photos, I just ran and grabbed it,” Jacob added.
He was right because his wife received a ton of messages the day after posting the silly images.
“The messages were a little bit crazy. I woke up to 200 plus messages and just random girls telling me to divorce my husband,” Cambree stated in a FOX News report.

Nevertheless, Cambree told TODAY, “We’re very happily married.” Her displeased demeanor in the images was due to the chilly temperature, not her husband’s antics.
Jacob also said he’d be proud to show his kids his wedding photos with the Apple Vision Pro. “I think my kids are gonna be proud that I was an early adopter,” he claimed.
“I know it’s a silly photo, but it is really raw, you know? [It] shows exactly who we are and like, what our relationship is like,” Cambree added.
