Total Information Management Corporation (TIM), one of the leading technology solutions providers in the country today that offers information management services, has cautioned the public against the unauthorized and fraudulent activities being conducted by an entity operating under the names ” TIM CASH” and/or “TIM CASH LOAN APP.”

“This entity has misused our corporate name (Total Information Management Corporation) and address (5600 Sergio Osmena Hi-way corner Arellano St., Barangay Palanan, Makati City), along with establishing their web presence through the domain www.timcorpph.com, and purporting to offer loan services via a mobile application accessible on smartphones,” the company stated in its Notice to the Public.

“Total Information Management Corporation has no affiliations, connections, or associations with the said “TIM CASH,” its website, and/or its loan application mobile app. We denounce the illicit appropriation of our corporate name and address by “TIM CASH” and their attempt to mislead the public by insinuating any form of partnership with or endorsement by our company,” the notice said.

“Furthermore, Total Information Management Corporation hereby disclaims any form of direct or indirect liability for transactions, agreements, or interactions undertaken by ‘TIM CASH.’ This notice serves as a warning and disclaimer with respect to the aforementioned fraudulent activities,” it further stated.

In line with this, TIM, the technology company, has since taken immediate action and officially reported the matter to the appropriate lead governmental regulatory and law enforcement authorities. Consumers who experience being coerced by the other TIM into fraudulent loan activities are advised to report to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). You may also contact the Enforcement and Investor Protection Department of SEC through e-mail at [email protected] or through landline at (02) 8818-6337.

Unlike the other entity, TIM — the technology solutions provider — is a Filipino-owned company that has persevered to achieve its vision of becoming the best and most dependable Information Technology (IT) company in the Philippines. It has been supporting clients since 1985 — from the largest conglomerates and multinational companies to the small but forward-thinking businesses.
