It is part of the World AI Creator Awards (WAICA) made possible with the social influencer platform Fanvue.

What is Miss AI?

Miss AI is the world’s first beauty pageant for AI-generated models. The official WAICA website says it “will celebrate the technical skill and work behind digital influencer personas from across the world.”

AI influencers are online personas created with artificial intelligence. They have AI-generated avatars with idealized female aesthetics.

Individuals or companies host social media accounts and post messages and other media to build their online persona.

Learn more about AI influencers from this Cebu Daily News Inquirer article about Aitana Lopez. She’s one of the most famous AI influencers that earns $12,000.

Believe it or not, she and other AI influencers and human tech personalities will be the judges, such as:

  • Media founder Andrew Bloch
  • Beauty pageant historian Sally-Ann Fawcett
  • AI influencer Emily Pellegrini

The judges will choose winners based on these characteristics:

  • Beauty: They will assess candidates based on appearance. Moreover, they will ask questions like, “If you could have one dream to make the world a better place what would it be?”
  • Tech: Contestants will earn points for their skill and implementation of AI tools to create their AI influencers. These include their use of text prompts and visual detailing.
  • Social Clout: Judges will rate AI influencers based on their online fan engagement, audience growth rate, and utilization of social media platforms like Instagram.

The official Miss AI website says the third-place winner will receive $2,000, the second-place winner will get $5,000, and the champ will win $13,000.

People magazine quoted Fanvue co-founder Will Monanage:

“We jumped at the chance to be the first-ever partner of the Fanvue World AI Creator Awards, which recognizes talent and tech – and will continue to raise standards within the industry.”

“Miss AI is just one award as part of a program, and we share the vision for the WAICAs to become the Oscars of the AI creator economy.”
