LinkedIn’s Jobseeker Coach can help select users find their dream jobs using simple text prompts. Moreover, its AI can suggest ways to improve your resume and job applications.

What are LinkedIn AI’s features?

The official LinkedIn post says the platform rolled out AI-powered upgrades “to help professionals and employers thrive during these fast-changing times.”

The first one it unveiled is Jobseeker Coach, a chatbot that will find your dream job based on your specific requests.

For example, you may ask, “Find me a remote marketing job in Detroit that pays at least $110,000.” In response, the Jobseeker Coach will find the role that matches that description.

LinkedIn AI can also review your application and resume to provide immediate feedback. Then, you may apply those suggestions to increase your chances of landing a job.

The program can simplify your job search by generating the appropriate cover letter for specific roles.

What’s more, the platform will also help Premium subscribers learn new proficiencies for the ever-shifting job market.

It says, “The skills required in the workplace are expected to change by 68% by 2030.” That is why LinkedIn’s AI-powered Coach doubles as a job mentor.

If you need assistance in steering your career in the right direction, ask LinkedIn AI. It can provide personalized practical advice from LinkedIn Learning experts.

The program can also summarize content and clarify topics from LinkedIn Learning courses.

For example, ask, “How does this apply to me?” and the program will offer more relevant details.

LinkedIn Product Manager Rohan Rajiv explained in a separate blog why the platform gained AI upgrades:

“Generative AI tools have the potential to increase the efficiency in the job search process to a level not previously possible.”

“However, companies hire people, not AI tools, and our hope is that these tools help your skills and experience take center stage.”
