Liga Republika registration is now open

METRO MANILA — Globally renowned game developer and publisher Riot Games recently opened national registration for Liga Republika’s open qualifiers.

Liga Republika is the country’s newly launched national League of Legends tournament created by Pinoys for Pinoy players. 

Its open qualifiers have four rounds spread into four weeks, starting from July 13 to August 2, 2024. 

If you want to join, form a team of at least five players to enter the Liga Republika registration period.

Teams can register for all four rounds of the open qualifiers. That may increase their chances of winning and progressing to the group stage.

Riot Games Philippines says the tournament will enhance the competitiveness of local LoL players and open new opportunities for them.

“This is exciting for us because Filipino League players have been clamoring for legitimate competitive recognition,” said Joel Guzman, Riot Games Philippines’ Country Manager. 

“But we need to earn it, and we do that by elevating the national competitive scene first,” Guzman noted.

“We at Riot Games Philippines are focusing on boosting local competitiveness through Liga Republika. This sets the horizon for a strong local competitive gaming scene that opens new doors for the future,” he added.
