  1. Go to twittervideodownloader.com via your PC or Mac’s web browser.
  2. Then, copy the link of the X message or tweet containing your desired video. 
  3. Paste it on the Twitter Video Downloader site and select your preferred video resolution.
  4. Afterward, click the Download button to open a new tab containing your selected video.
  5. Right-click the video or click the three-dot button.
  6. Next, click the “Save it to your computer” option.
  7. Wait until your computer finishes downloading. 

Your new video should be in your computer’s Download folder. Note that these websites may cease functioning as X updates its social media platform. Moreover, be careful of malware or viruses while using downloader sites.

Android users can download videos from X with the Video Downloader for Twitter app. Here’s how it works:

  1. Download and install Video Downloader for Twitter on the Google Play Store.
  2. Then, open the X post or tweet containing your desired video.
  3. Tap the Share button, which looks like three dots connected with lines.
  4. Select the Copy Link option.
  5. Next, open the Video Downloader for Twitter app, which will ask you to download the video automatically.
  6. Tap the Download button to save the clip.

You can find your new video in the Videos folder. If you use an iPhone, you’re lucky because the built-in Safari web browser lets you download videos from X. Lifehacker recommends the following steps:

  1. Open the X app and tap your preferred X post’s Share button.
  2. Then, tap the Copy Link button.
  3. Paste the link in the Safari app’s address bar.
  4. Tap the triple-dot icon and then select the Save to Files option.
  5. Next, name your video and select the Save option.

You can find your new downloads in the Files app. Again, be wary of viruses and malware when using downloader sites. Remember that they may encounter errors due to X upgrades.
