Globe’s new venture arm welcomes first behavioral AI startup
Globe’s venture building arm, Velocity by 917Ventures announces Netopia AI as its pioneer startup after evaluating over 200 startups for enterprise alignment.
Netopia AI’s behavioral AI product, Predikta, uses “digital populations” to simulate sentiment and behavior. Its task is to predict audience responses and ROI before a product launch.
Jason Albia, Co-founder and CTO of Netopia AI sees the problem with traditional analytics to predict behavioral patterns. “Traditional analytics describe patterns, but they often fail to explain why people behave the way they do,” Albia explains.
“Our interdisciplinary team of experts bridges data, behavioral science, and AI to help organizations reason about how people might think, feel, and respond, allowing them to innovate with confidence.”
Collaboration with Globe
The collaboration with Globe through Velocity by 917Ventures will grant Netopia AI access to Globe’s infrastructure. 917Ventures will also be taking equity stake in the startup.

Netopia AI will also be able to collaborate with Brave Connective Holdings and subsidiaries, AdSpark and Inquiro. Brave Connective Holdings is the omnitech solutions subsidiary of the Globe Group.
