Falcons Vega wins 2026 Game Changers SEA Challengers Split 1

The VCT 2026 Game Changers SEA Challengers Split 1 has concluded with Team Falcons Vega winning the entire tournament. After Stallions Lyra failed to defeat 36 Thieves like their previous encounter, it was up to Team Falcons Vega to bring home gold for some of its Filipina members.

Team Falcons Vega Completely Outclass 36 Thieves

36 Thieves carried the momentum from their match against Stallions Lyra, but Team Falcons Vega were prepared for everything.

Team Falcons Vega dominated all three maps, reading 36 Thieves like a book the entire series. They closed the game without any room to breathe or give the latter a potential comeback to at least make it a close game.

Odella “enerii” Abraham on the other hand made it easy for Team Falcons Vega to bag the win with her stellar performance across the maps, especially on Pearl and Split. Eneri got 22/8/3 KDA and 331 ACS on her Waylay and 23/12/8 KDA and 325 ACS on her Neon.

Carrying the PH torch after Stallions Lyra elimination

Before the Grand Finals bout, Stallions Lyra and 36 Thieves proved to be one of the most intense series of the split so far.

Coming into a Best-of-Five, Stallions Lyra were slight favorites, having already taken down 36 Thieves in the Upper Semifinals, 2-0. What followed was a brutal momentum swing series that highlighted both Lyra’s dominance and their struggles to close.

Through the games, 36 Thieves clawed their way back round by round, capitalizing on small holes and mistakes of Stallions Lyra’s defense. 

Both comebacks were powered by “imvnesegirl”, who delivered explosive performances that propelled them for a nearly impossible retaliation.

Dropping an incredible 33/13/10 KDA with a 351 ACS in Bind and 29/16/9 KDA and a 349 ACS in Split , imvnesegirl completely took over the server. Her impact turned the tide, as 36 Thieves completed the comeback to win 13-11, handing Stallions Lyra consecutive heartbreaking losses from a winning position.

Team Falcons Vega was declared as the first champions of VCT 2026 Game Changers SEA Challengers Split 1 and will be directly invited for Split 2. 36 Thieves will also be directly invited for Split 2, for finishing as a runner up in the tournament.
