Zelda & Kingdom Hearts 4 lead new Nintendo Direct
MANILA, Philippines – Nintendo has announced major titles coming to the Switch and Switch 2 during its Nintendo Direct livestream via its YouTube channel on June 10.
Some of the highly anticipated titles coming to consoles include The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, Kingdom Hearts IV, Final Fantasy Resonance, and many others.
Kingdom Hearts series doubles down on reveals
The hit action-RPG series is returning for its fourth installment.
Following Sora’s ultimate sacrifice at the end of Kingdom Hearts III, he awakens alongside his familiar companions in a brand-new, modern city setting.
The new gameplay revealed in the livestream also showed that Sora fights the Heartless in the new setting, along with new Final Fantasy characters joining the cast.
Kingdom Hearts IV was initially announced in 2022, three years after the release of the third iteration in the mainline series.

The fourth edition of the game has no specific release date yet; however, it will be available at launch on Nintendo Switch 2, alongside other platforms.
Aside from the new installment, the game will also see the arrival of Kingdom Hearts Collection, which is set to be released on October 8, 2026.
The collection will have the following titles included: KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+ 2.5 ReMIX-, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC).
Players who own the KINGDOM HEARTS Cloud titles or the Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud can upgrade at a discount and receive the platform-exclusive keyblade “Long Night” for free.
The collection is currently priced at US $74.99 (PHP 4,598), and pre-orders are available through the official website of the Nintendo store.
Zelda Remake also makes its way to Switch 2
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is finally getting an all-new remake on Switch 2, with a release date set sometime this year.
While the trailer did not reveal many details, what was confirmed aside from the release window of 2026 was a sighting of resting Link dressed in garb similar to the original game.
The original game, released in 1998 for the Nintendo 64, follows Link’s adventures in Hyrule to prevent Ganondorf from traveling through time.
Final Fantasy Resonance
The new Final Fantasy Resonance will revolve around the story of the now-defunct mobile game Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius.
It follows the story of Rain along with his childhood friend Lasswell, who are sent on a mission to investigate the fall of the magical barrier at the Earth Shrine.

Upon their arrival, they are completely defeated by a dark-armored villain known as Veritas of the Dark.
Veritas then shatters the Earth Crystal, assaults Rain and Lasswell’s home kingdom, and aims to destroy the remaining elemental crystals.
The journey embarks on rescuing a mysterious girl named Fina after narrowly surviving the attack.
From there, they embark on a quest to pursue Veritas, protecting the surviving crystals, and stop the ancient force from destroying the world.
The game is scheduled for release on October 22 for both the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
