Video of jolly elevator girl goes viral

MANILA, Philippines—Her voice radiates joy as she welcomes riders.  She’s Cheridel Alejandrino, an elevator girl.

A 2:27-minute video uploaded on YouTube by Dave Pronto shows Alejandrino as she gleefully performs her job as an elevator employee of the Philippines’ richest man—mall magnate Henry Sy.

“We’re now on fifth floor, parking area. Thank you Ma’am, thank you Sir,” Alejandrino, who works at SM Olongapo, says with a smile.

The video, which has been going viral, got 90,065 views as of 3:05 p.m. Friday. It was posted on Wednesday.
