Steve Jobs biography on sale in November
WASHINGTON – A biography of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs being written by former Time magazine managing editor Walter Isaacson will be released in November, publisher Simon & Schuster said Monday.
Online retail giant Amazon lists the release date for the book, “Steve Jobs: A Biography,” as March 6, 2012, but Simon & Schuster’s publicity department told AFP in an email it will go on sale on November 21.
The 448-page book is the first authorized biography of the technology visionary behind the Macintosh computer, the iPod, the iPhone and iPad.

“Although Jobs cooperated with this book, he asked for no control over what was written nor even the right to read it before it was published,” Barnes & Noble said.
“He put nothing off limits and instead encouraged the people he knew to speak honestly, even foes, former girlfriends, and colleagues he had once fired or infuriated,” it said.
