After driving for about 45 minutes, she experienced contractions, and moments later, the baby came out.

Leslie, after giving birth, exclaimed: “Oh my gosh, we just had a baby in the car.”

Jon, who recorded the whole experience through his GoPro while driving, then asked for a high-five: “We did it! High-five, babe!”

Asked on why he didn’t pull over, Jon told KHOU 11 News: “The only reason I would need to pull over is that if there is something wrong that needed to be dealt with immediately.”

The baby boy, named Josiah, weighed 10 pounds.

Before giving birth to Josiah, the Pettijohns had two daughters, both were delivered in a hospital.

Jon’s video, which he uploaded on YouTube, has since been viewed more than four million times. AJH/DPL
