Photos of 101-year-old mom tending sick son saddens netizens

A mother’s love is always unconditional. Heartbreaking portraits of a 101-year-old mother taking care of her 63-year-old ill son made netizens whimper in sorrow.

Facebook page Digos Good Vibes posted the poignant photos of the mother and her son on Friday. The post garnered an astounding 36,000 likes and reactions, 16,100 shares, and 580 comments as of this writing.

“She is 101 years old and still takes care of her disabled son who’s 63. A mother’s love is just priceless,” the caption wrote.

Although the identities and whereabouts of the mother and son are unknown as of the moment, a multitude of Facebook users sympathized and sought prayers for her and her son. A Facebook user said, “A mother’s unconditional love for her child is countless, priceless, and forever ’til their last breath. God has good intentions for you both.”

“Sana sila ‘yung mas dapat tinutulungan [at] hindi ‘yung mga nakikita sa kung saan saan, porket maganda o gwapo,” another user commented, referring to the sudden stardom of “Carrot Man” Jeyrick Sigmaton and “Badjao Girl” Rita Gabriola.
