Weekly Shonen Jump now available in PH

Popular comic magazine Weekly Shonen Jump is now available digitally in the Philippines at the Viz Media site. Image Viz Media

Viz Media has announced that digital distribution of the well-known Weekly Shonen Jump has expanded to include the Philippines, India and Singapore.

Anime News Network reports that the magazine will be offering free chapters to a number of popular manga. These include Blue Exorcist; Boruto: Naruto the Next Generation; Dragon Ball Super; Haikyu!!; The Emperor and I; Naruto: The Path Lit by the Full Moon; Tokyo Ghoul [Jack]; One Punch Man; Kuroko’s Basketball; Boys over Flowers Season 2; and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Part 1 Phantom Blood. This digital anthology of the popular Japanese magazine was launched in 2012 with the name Shonen Jump Alpha. It served as a successor to Viz Media’s Shonen Jump print magazine. English-translated chapters from serialised manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump are being simultaneously being published and appear every Monday.

Some of the series currently running on the magazine include Bleach, My Hero Academia, Nisekoi – False Love, One Piece, One Punch Man, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Hunter x Hunter, and Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign.  Alfred Bayle
