This service will allow gamers to buy a game once and have it available for both the Windows 10 and Xbox One platforms, reports Tech Radar.

The initiative will not be automatically available to every Xbox One game, but Microsoft plans to bring the service to future first-party Xbox One games such as Gears of War 4, Crackdown 3 and Forza Horizon 3. Compatible games will be identifiable through the Play Anywhere Logo.

Two updates will signal the arrival of the Pay Anywhere functionality, which are the Xbox summer and Windows 10 Anniversary updates.  Alfred Bayle
