LOOK: Viral mobile phone illusion fazes netizens

/ 05:50 PM July 11, 2016

An optical mirage involving a mobile phone and a common household rug has been driving the Internet nuts since last week.

At first glance, the image may appear to be of a table standing on a fairly standard rug, but Facebook user Jeya Mae Cruz is challenging netizens to unearth something else.

The post was captioned: “Since hindi ako makatulog (Since I can’t sleep). Let’s play a game. Look for the cell phone.”

FEATURED STORIES

The deceptive image has gone viral after it was posted by the Filipina user. It has been shared over 18,000 times after leaving many Facebook users perplexed. One of them wrote, “Nakakaloka nakita q na (This is crazy, I finally found it),” while another chimed in,“D halata ‘no ([It’s unobtrusive, right)?”

One unsuccessful user, meanwhile, resorted to Photoshop to “locate” two cellphones.
