Not long ago, Nintendo announced it would be releasing a little bit of nostalgia back into the market in the shape of the Nintendo NES Mini. For the Japanese market, however, the company is planning to put out the Famicom Mini.

Officially labelled as the “Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer,” it comes preloaded with a selection of 30 8-bit games similar to the NES Mini, reports The Verge.

Unfortunately this is not a joke (well it sorta is). How anyone will be able to play anything properly with a controller this size is anyone’s guess. Image Nintendo

There are two differences, however, when compared with the NES Mini. First, the selection of games in the Famicom Mini is slightly different from NES Mini’s lineup. Second, the Famicom Mini has a pair of hardwired mini-controllers.
