Final Fantasy 15 may be available for PC in ‘more than a year’
The Final Fantasy franchise still lords it over the entire role-playing game (RPG) genre for consoles, and fans are still clamoring for a PC version.
Due to the persistent public demand, Hajime Tabata, the co-director of the franchise’s latest adaptation Final Fantasy XV, addressed these concerns, according to a report from PC Gamer.

“On that hypothesis, not talking about something real, just an idea, something like this would take us more than a year,” Tabata was quoted as saying in the report, which was translated from Japanese.
“We should work to adapt the engine, which is very laborious, and from there to develop its course,” he added.

“This would be an opportunity to release a version far superior in terms of quality and tech, but we have to start from scratch by doing research of what would be the best technology to use,” the company said in a statement last April.
Originally slated for a September release, console gamers will finally get their hands on Final Fantasy XV on Nov. 9. Khristian Ibarrola
