WATCH: 2008 Lenovo ad targeted at Apple still relevant today

/ 07:47 AM November 08, 2016

Back in the day, Apple released the MacBook Air and many reacted regarding its lack of ports. So laptop maker Lenovo created an ad targeted at this “feature.” The ad is still humorously relevant today.

Apple’s recently released MacBook Pro has earned the ire of a few consumers for doing away with standard ports and opting for the new USB-C port. It appears that history has repeated itself as consumers in 2008 reacted in a similar way with the then new MacBook Air, reports The Next Web.

Lenovo’s ad featured its ThinkPad X300, which was built as a productivity-centric ultraportable. But unlike the Air, it still had most of its standard ports for users’ convenience.  Alfred Bayle
