‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ reveal trailer released

/ 04:00 PM November 08, 2016

The long wait is over as the official cinematic reveal trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda has finally been released. With it comes more information on the kind of adventure that players will encounter, as well as more questions about the characters featured.

Bioware certainly didn’t spare any expense with this trailer as it looks and feels more like a Hollywood movie trailer than a game trailer. It also gives a brief overview of the game’s plot. From previous reveals, it is known that this new Mass Effect game will be set on a different galaxy. But the trailer did not reveal where on the Mass Effect timeline the game stems from. However, it did say that the Andromeda itself will be set 600 years after the migratory ship Hyperion left the Milky Way galaxy together with ships from the other galactic races.

What appears to be the main antagonist was also featured, although his face was never shown. One thing is for sure, he is far larger than an average human and most likely a native of the Andromeda galaxy.

Hopefully more will be revealed in the coming days as fans count down to the game’s release date.  Alfred Bayle
