U S President Donald Trump solemnly swore to the American people that he would prioritize his country’s interests first, but a Dutch satirical show reaches out to Trump to make the Netherlands his second priority.

Gag show Zondag met Lubach filmed a hilarious tourism campaign “welcoming” Trump to their tiny country and persuading him to make “America first, then Netherlands second.”

“And we realize it’s better for us to get along,” host Arjen Lubach concluded. “We decided to introduce our tiny country to him in a way that will probably appeal to him the most.”

FEATURED STORIES

The clip also introduces some of the European country’s main attractions, such as the Ponypark Slagharen, where tourists can “grab ’em by the pony.” Another place mentioned is the Afsluidijk, a causeway that was built to “protect them from the water of Mexico.”

“And we made the Mexicans pay for it,” the voice-over bragged.

If Trump spent his lifetime establishing his Trump Towers empire, the Netherlands is known for its chanter, Lee Towers. Astoundingly, it has one of the best tax systems in the world–and they “invited” Trump’s sons to invest in the country.

As of Wednesday, the skit has garnered 3 million views and positive feedbacks from internet users.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
