For the health-conscious, an exercise ball is one of many tools needed to keep oneself toned and fit. But storing the large balls can sometimes be a pain.

A few Japanese owners have found the solution to this conundrum, and it’s in a corner of your house that you never thought to look.

RocketNews24 reports that a few Japanese owners have discovered how exercise balls cling tightly to overhead corners in their house. These same users did not think twice to share their discoveries on social media.

FEATURED STORIES

As it so happens, the trick lies in the rough wallpaper that is common in Japanese houses. These rough surfaces tend to adhere quite firmly on the material that exercise balls are made of. Given the right corner, a ball can hang in place for an indefinite amount of time (read: indefinite).

For those living outside of Japan, the trick may or may not work, depending on the house’s wall surface. It (hopefully) wouldn’t hurt to try. Alfred Bayle/JB
