Bungie recently announced an upcoming sequel to their online multiplayer first-person shooter game “Destiny”. The release of this teaser for “Destiny 2” signals that the campaign for the sequel is now in full gear.

The trailer shows the character Cayde-6 hanging out in a bar while he casually recounts some of his adventures. Later, the shot pans out to show Last City, the main player area in Destiny, shown ablaze and under attack.

“Destiny” was released worldwide back in 2014. It was only available for consoles, namely the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

In Destiny, players take on the role of a “Guardian” whose main purpose is to protect the Earth’s last safe city. To accomplish this, they use a special power called “Light” in order to combat aliens of different races that seek to eradicate humanity.

A full “Destiny 2” reveal trailer will be released on March 30 to shed some more light on the upcoming game. Alfred Bayle/JB
