Elon Musk’s aerospace company SpaceX finally released a supercut video of its rocket booster landing last week.
The incredible footage, which was recently uploaded on Instagram, showcased the company’s largest and most expensive piece, the 229-foot-tall, $62-million Falcon 9 rocket system.
As seen in three edited video feeds spliced together, the Falcon 9 successfully landed on SpaceX’s comically named droneship, “Of Course I Still Love You” after delivering the satellite SES-10 into orbit.
Article continues after this advertisementWith the company’s space exploration goals at full throttle, Musk acknowledged the landing as one of the most memorable and important moments in SpaceX’s history.
“It’s been 15 years to get to this point,” the tech mogul said during a live broadcast, as relayed by The Business Insider. “I’m at a loss for words.”
