Numerous product images have been leaked in the past just before their respective official unveilings and Microsoft’s new Surface laptops won’t be the last.
Twitter user WalkingCat recently uploaded photos of the upcoming Microsoft Surface Laptop. He claims that it will come with a 13.5-inch PixelSense display, Alcantara-covered keyboard, and a Windows 10 S operating system. He also adds that there will be four different colors: platinum, burgundy, cobalt blue and graphite gold.
However, it’s not clear as to what type of processor will power these laptops, nor the types of ports that will be incorporated. Based on the photos, it appears to be missing USB type-C ports.
The Verge reports that the Surface laptops will be running a Microsoft Chrome OS alternative operating system OS.
So far, all of these details are still in the rumor phase. But the record can be set straight soon when Microsoft discloses all relevant information regarding these new Surface notebooks, set to be officially launched in a few hours, as of this writing. Alfred Bayle/JB
