LOOK: National Planetarium extends free admission offer until May 31

Missed out on the chance to visit the National Museum Planetarium for free?

Fret no more, as the esteemed institution is extending its generous offer in commemoration of National Heritage Month this May.

As announced on the the museum’s official Facebook page last Monday, anyone is free to take a gander on the new full dome planetarium projector, as well as experience its other attractions—completely free of charge.

Initially, the offer was supposed to last from March 24 until the end of April.

Aside from featuring a hybrid projector, which is the first of its kind in the Philippines, the planetarium also allows guests to choose from a multitude of astronomy shows like “A Planet for Goldilocks”, “Journey to a Billion Suns” and “Hayabusa: Back to the Earth”.

The National Museum Planetarium is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with shows scheduled at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays to Saturdays. Sunday shows are available at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
