It’s been some time since the last Assassin Creed came out, which was back in 2015. But it’s not the end of the franchise yet because a new image has been leaked pointing to a new installment in the game series.

The image was found posted on Reddit by user “shoutouttoashraf.” However, the user’s account has since been deleted, reports Eurogamer.

The username appeared to be in reference to Ashraf Ismail, a staffer at Ubisoft who worked on “Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag”. He is also known to be working on an unannounced project at Ubisoft Montreal.

The leaked image depicts a character aboard a small boat. Said character is seen carrying a bow and arrow, as well as a shield strapped to its back. It appears to be a photo taken from a monitor that’s running a build of the upcoming game.

A report from Kotaku back in 2016 revealed that the game is codenamed “Empire” and that it will be set in Egypt.

Looking closer, text on a corner of the screen reads “Assassinate the Crocodile” and “Follow Shadya to Khenut’s villa.” Khenut was an Egyptian queen and wife to the Pharaoh Unas. They both lived during the fifth dynasty of Egypt.

Apart from this, nothing else is currently known about the new Assassin’s Creed game. Gamers expect Ubisoft to be more forthcoming in sharing details at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2017) on June, at Los Angeles. Alfred Bayle/JB
