A couple of Nintendo Switch owners recently customized their respective consoles to give it a little boost in the looks department. From customized buttons to Gundam-themed makeovers, gamers have been tinkering with their Nintendo Switch units in surprising, creative ways.

This time around, Korean Nintendo Switch owner Clown TV did his take on a custom Switch and he has been inspired by the classic Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES)—also known as the Super Famicom, reports Kotaku.

The finished item came out beautifully, with the new console capturing the distinct look of the classic SNES.

Clown TV completely stripped the Switch of all its coverings and opted to create new ones, instead of just painting over the original plastic casings.

Those marks on the corner are not paint cracks; simply bend areas where the original casing curved. Image: Ruliweb/Clown TV

The amount of detail put into this project is truly mind-blowing. Possibly enough for Nintendo to take notice and release an official version? Alfred Bayle/JB
