The 64-year-old head of the Russian Federation is in China to discuss a $1-billion economic plan called “One Belt, One Road”, the Huffington Post reported.

As seen in the 1-minute-and-22-second clip uploaded by digital news service Sputnik, Putin gracefully played a pair of 1950s, Soviet-era tunes, including Vasily Solovyov-Sedoi’s “Evening Song” and Tikhon Khrennikov’s “Moscow Windows.”

As expected, social media was abuzz over the performance, with some users injecting humor to the clip.

Twitter user @ThePoke edited the video’s audio and made it seem that Putin was playing the iconic “Imperial March,” which was popularized as Darth Vader’s theme music in the Star Wars lore. Khristian Ibarrola /ra
