With the huge success of “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, Nintendo has revealed that a new Zelda game is being developed for smartphones.
The information was stated on a report by The Wall Street Journal, but no further details were stated about the game.
This follows the announcement made by Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima last month, which laid out plans to release two to three new smartphone games by March 2018, the end of the financial year.
Despite the lack of details as to whether it will be free to play or will require a one-time payment, the prospect of a new Zelda game should be enough to get fans excited for the coming months. It also shows Nintendo’s commitment to creating more games for the mobile platform. Alfred Bayle/JB
