Bear runs after cyclist in bike park, caught on camera
If you’ve ever been chased by a big dog while biking around on the streets, then you probably have an idea of how this guy feels with a bear running after him.
Dušan Vinžík had been riding down the trail at a Slovakian bike park when a large brown bear appeared out of nowhere and briefly gave chase to his friend Malino Brdo. The incident was captured on Vinžík’s head cam.
Luckily, Brdo decided to stop before the next turn when he heard Vinžík calling out to him. Had he moved ahead, the bear would have cut him off as the animal had gone off trail.
As to why the bear gave chase or its reason for departing shortly afterwards, viewers can only speculate. But bears have been known to get scared off by loud noises. JB
