A gaming classic “Crazy Taxi” is getting revived and has made its way to both Android as well as iOS mobile platforms.

Originally released in 2000 for arcades and on Sega Dreamcast, “Crazy Taxi” has been made free to play by Sega for mobile, reports Engadget.

“Crazy Taxi” is an over-the-top open world game where players take on the role of a cabbie who drives around town picking up passengers and getting them to their destinations in the fastest and craziest way possible.

The mobile version is every bit the original “Crazy Taxi”, including its punk rock soundtrack.

Like most games, ads will be flashed every now and then. To get rid of them, players can opt to shell out $2 (roughly P100) for an undisturbed fare-hunting experience. Alfred Bayle/JB
