Spill-resistant mechanical Corsair keyboard made for ‘clumsy’ gamers

If you spend hours of your day sitting in front of a gaming PC, then you’ve probably spilled liquid and dropped pieces of food on your keyboard countless times. At worst, ants might have started to infest it.
Known California-based PC components maker Corsair understands the usual gamer woes, so the company created the IP32 rated spill-and-dust-resistant Corsair K68 mechanical keyboard, reports Tech Radar.
To help insulate the inner workings of the keyboard, a layer of silicon rubber has been placed directly underneath the LED backlit keys. Unless fully submerged, the keyboard should be able to withstand most spills. The silicon rubber should also make it easier to clean up dust buildup and food particles that fall between the key spaces.

The rest of its features include Cherry MX Red switches, media buttons and the Corsair Utility Engine software that will allow users to fully program the K68 with macro shortcuts.
The Corsair K68 mechanical keyboard is currently being sold for $99 (roughly P4,900) in the United States, China and South Korea which has a special blue LED backlit version. Alfred Bayle/JB
