Bandai Namco Entertainment America’s YouTube channel recently released a new trailer for the upcoming action game “Code Vein”. The trailer provides additional details on the title’s enemies and the plot.
The English-subtitled trailer briefly explained what Revenants are and their connection to a “Queen” through a preview of what appears to be the game’s tutorial portion.
A voice over then touches on the origin of the red mist which engulfs the game world, and the significance of “blood beads” to Revenants. Blood beads fuel the Revenants’ powers called “Gifts”, while also being a source of nourishment.
The latter part of the trailer showed more of the game’s characters, which players will eventually encounter as they go through the story.
Gamers can start battling vampire-like creatures as powerful Revenants in “Code Vein” come 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. JB
