Robin Seemangal, who regularly covers stories about NASA, recently shared information saying astronauts aboard the International Space Station need not miss out on the “The Last Jedi” bandwagon.
Seemangal tweeted about receiving confirmation of NASA’s plans to work with Disney and set up a special “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” screening in space for the crew of the ISS.

No other details has been revealed so far, such as the screening date or exactly how the astronauts will get to watch the movie.
NASA told Mashable that the astronauts typically receive movies as digital files. The crew could then watch them on a laptop or a projector on the ISS. The agency also confirmed that the astronauts will get to watch “The Last Jedi”.
Since ISS astronauts are fairly active on social media, they should probably steer clear of it for a while to avoid spoilers until they get their turn to watch. JB
