Where to spot the super blue blood moon in PH

Are you and your friends planning to see this rare phenomenon called the super blue blood moon? The Philippine Astronomical Society (PAS) has got you covered.

The PAS posted on its Facebook page on Jan. 24 some 20 spots where the moon could be best seen in full view.

PAS encourages people to “Observe this rare event!” The spots that the group mentioned are free and open to the public.

The supermoon is set to happen on Wednesday, Jan. 31, as the moon will rise at exactly 5:42 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) said.

Don’t miss this once in a lifetime event, as the Philippines last observed a super blue blood moon occurence on Dec. 30, 1982, according to PAG-ASA. JB
