Super Mario fans, you might want to add this to your collection.
After Japanese fans were treated with an encyclopedia written in Nihonggo back in 2015, Nintendo is expected to release an English version of the “Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia” on Oct. 23, Kotaku first reported.
To be published under Dark Horse Comics, the 256-page encyclopedia will detail the three decades of the franchise’s history — starting with the “Super Mario Bros.” to the “Super Mario 3D World” released in 2013. Unfortunately, it leaves out the latest installment “Super Mario Odyssey” that came out last year.

“Dark Horse is incredibly proud to continue our partnership with Nintendo,” Dark Horse Comics president and founder Mike Richardson said. “Together, we’ve produced beautiful art books to honor the ground-breaking games Nintendo’s created. We’re proud to give fans another way to appreciate the material.”
