YouTuber Brainfoo looks to trump Elon Musk’s Boring Flamethrower with a not so boring giant red lighter.
After a quick rundown on how the lighter works, Brainfoo proceeds to test out the do-it-yourself project.
Brainfoo acknowledges how dangerous the project can be, so he opted not to provide instructions on how to build it.
Like a regular lighter, the Brainfoo giant lighter also has a regulator to limit the size of the flame. At low power, the lighter can produce a flame about a foot tall, which should be able to cook s’mores. At full blast, the giant lighter becomes more of a funny-looking flamethrower that can probably burn down a house.
For a more low-tech project, Brainfoo also made giant match sticks complete with a matchbox to store them. /ra
