Mint-colored Pixel 3 smartphones may be in store when Google launches its latest devices in October.
A simple website was put together with a some interactive elements built into it. Accessing the site hosted on the withgoogle.com domain will show a big “Coming Soon” message on the left-hand side. On the right is an interactive rectangle made to illustrate a smartphone’s outline. Hovering the mouse pointer on it and moving it left and right will cause the shape to turn slightly from side to side.
The tease will come from pressing the “G” on the bottom hand area. Clicking on it once will change the background to a mint color and confetti will start falling from the top. Clicking it again turns the background and the text will change to a neon light sign font.
Another click on the G will return to the initial white background.
With Google’s Oct. 9 event slowly inching closer, the teaser site may be a hint at different colors the new Pixel 3 smartphones will come in. No other details could be found on the site despite clicking on various points on the browser. Such details may remain under wraps until Google reveals their new phones to the rest of the world. /ra
