The all-new Toyota Vios’s upgrades are what makes it the best in its class today

Toyota marks its 30th year by releasing an all-new version of its flagship vehicle, the Vios. With the brand’s pursuit of better ways to move people, the new features make every journey worth taking. Whether parked or in motion, the sleek upgrades make the model the best in its class today.

Here are the top reasons why you should take a ride:

The exterior’s visual enhancements showcase the innovative design behind the all-new Vios. A horizontally-oriented blackout grille emphasizes its wider stance, accentuated by the LED Daytime Running Lights. This is complemented by the striking appeal of the 16” alloy wheels, rear combination lamps with LED line guides, and halogen projector headlamps.

For the Prime variants, the seamless blending of the continuous fascia-to-headlight structure and the new character lines gives the vehicle a more emotional charge, highlighting the front, side, and rear skirts. The silhouette from bumper to trunk lid tapers smoothly into sleek redesigned spoilers. An aerostabilizing shark fin antenna is available in G and E variants.

Added to the Vios’ color palette are two new daring colors: Super Red V and Grayish Blue Mica Metallic. Returning are the seven signature shades which include: Freedom White, Thermalyte, Black, Red Mica Metallic, White Pearl, Alumina Jade Metallic, and Blackish Red Mica— a variety of colors for a variety of tastes.

Shaped with comfort in mind, the interiors include an increased shoulder space, improved shape of headrests and rear seats for a relaxing drive anytime, anywhere.

After comfort comes convenience. The journey begins with the Push Start and Smart Entry System. The state-of-the-art technology allows the driver to freely choose between Eco and Sport power modes. An Optitron meter gauge blends naturally into the Multi-Information Display of the dashboard. The integrated center panel combines the automatic air-conditioning controls to the touch-screen display audio, allowing ease of access through Bluetooth, web link, and USB connecivity.

On top of its aesthetic design, the new model takes pride in the vehicle’s performance. The all-new Vios retains its signature fuel efficiency with its DUAL VVT-i engine. The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and the 5-speed Manual Transmission (MT) ensures smooth acceleration while maintaining precise control of speed and brakes. Through the sequential shift and paddle shift of the CVT variants, the driver has the freedom to choose depending on his or her need and preference.

The model comes with an Anti-Lock Brake System, Vehicle Stability Control, and Hill Start Assist function. It is further equipped with seven SRS airbags strategically located around the car, making Vios the only model in its segment whose variants are marked with a 5-star rating by the ASEAN New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP).
