(I have a working student sister then we decided to eat in their store to visit her. When we arrived, my sister told us that she’s the only crew on duty in their lobby and there are many customers. After I ordered our food, I was surprised that our mother was already helping my sister bus out. #ProudDaughterHere)

Jann Matlia Mendoza, the working student mentioned in the post, told inquirer.net that she was surprised and at the same time was touched by what her mother did.

“Nagulat po ako then natouch din.” said Mendoza. “Syempre po sa work ko bawal yung ganun dahil naka on duty po ako, na touch naman po ako kasi hindi lahat ng magulang eh kayang gawin yung ganun” (I was surprised and touched at the same time. At work, what my mother did is not allowed but then I was touched because not all parents can do that.)

Mendoza’s mother earned praises from netizens as the post garnered 27,000 reactions and over 12,000 shares online. /muf
