Fancy a few more positively puppy-powered digital playthings after seeing eager Kickstarter hopeful “Doggone”? Then check out the pitches for upcoming releases “Pupperazzi”, “Home Free” and “Lost and Hound”.
Pupperazzi
Revealed in May with a release forecast for some point in 2019, “Pupperazzi” will have players “snap photos of dogs while maintaining [their] social media presence” through the use of angle-chasing maneuverability, athletic double-jumps and slow-motion zooming. It was made by Sundae Month, the team behind the very well received “Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor” and “Dad Quest”, and can boast of a local multiplayer mode all about competitive dog photography.

This lolloping, route-finding survival adventure grew out of the game festival showcase “Dog Park” since expanding its scope into citywide escapades in a 2015 Kickstarter campaign that cleared $98,000 (about P5 million). It was originally projected for a 2016 release, but New York developer Kevin Cancienne has kept backers up to date with updates along the way as “Home Free” approaches eventual release on PC, Mac and PlayStation 4.
Lost and Hound
Scampering towards a late 2019 launch is helpful corgi dog Biscuit, whose game is all about using hyperfocused senses of smell and hearing to locate people in need of help, whether in the Australian outback, American wilderness or Swiss Alps. Its creator, who has a Patreon crowdfunding campaign available for those that want to support them, is using a background in sound design and composition to make PC game “Lost and Hound” entirely playable without sight.

Having just launched on Kickstarter, “Doggone” is running its crowdfunding campaign until Aug. 16, 2019, requesting a total north of $100,000 (about P5 million) ahead of a planned March 2020 release. Players will take the game’s hero pet across a side-view landscape populated with pink trees and appropriately-themed puzzles on a journey partially inspired by family-friendly animal movies. HM/JB
