Size does matter in a new dating site, but not in the typical way.

Dinky One is a matchmaking site that is “100% exclusive for men with a smaller penis and those who prefer one.”

The dating site was developed to address the pressures men face in having a larger penis size while also acknowledging that some straight women and gay men prefer smaller phalluses. It claims too that “50% of the male population will have a penis less than average size.”

The site states that the average penis size is 5.5 inches, so those who register must be smaller than this. It also welcomes those with micropenises, which it defines as “an erect size less than 3½ inches (9 cm).”

FEATURED STORIES

The thrust of the matchmaking site is to make dating a smoother experience for all. “Everyone understands the situation in advance, allowing couples to focus on getting to know each other and dating,” Dinky One founder David Minns told the New York Post in a March 9 report.

Privacy is valued too: Users can choose to remain anonymous and forego using a profile picture. The profile can contain certain information, such as the type of relationship one is looking for (e.g. casual or serious) and sexuality (e.g. straight, gay, queer, etc.) Interestingly, nude or “overly sexual” photos are not allowed.

The site is available worldwide and allows people of all sexualities to join. Dinky One claims that it has over 27,000 users, 71% of whom are male, 27% female and 2% transgender.  /ra
