Good news for Facebook employees: Everyone gets a $1,000 bonus
Amid the onslaught of bad news resulting from the coronavirus outbreak, Facebook is giving its employees a bit of good news, as reported by The Information: the company will be giving everyone a $1,000 (over P51,000) bonus.
According to the report, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg made the announcement internally on Tuesday, stating that “the company wants to support employees working remotely because of the pandemic.” All employees will be given an “exceeds” rating for their review covering the first half of 2020; this implies that “full-time employees also could earn significant bonuses for the period.”
