It has only been a week since OpenAI teased a professional version of its ChatGPT, but now it is finally here!

What are the features of ChatGPT Plus?

FEATURED STORIES

Millions of people have been using ChatGPT since its launch a few months ago. Consequently, you may be unable to use the tool during peak times.

ChatGPT Plus gives subscribers priority access so users like you can use it anytime. It provides faster response times too.

However, it does not immediately provide other features it told Mashable. For example, ChatGPT Plus has yet to enable businesses to provide industry-specific data.

That would allow various industries to improve via artificial intelligence. For example, they could use the AI tool to create quick social media posts for marketing purposes.

Moreover, OpenAI said it would enable users to incorporate ChatGPT into their computer programs as an API or Application Programming Interface.

It is like a program that controls other programs based on your preferences. As a result, businesses could rely on ChatGPT for various purposes.

For example, they could integrate ChatGPT into their customer support chatbots. Consequently, it could answer more complicated questions instead of FAQs.

Where are those features? OpenAI says ChatGPT Plus will provide priority access to subscribers. Also, we should expect the following upgrades:

  • Drafting & editing content
  • Brainstorming ideas
  • Programming help
  • Learning new topics
  • Data packs
  • Business and low-cost plans

ChatGPT Plus is only available in the United States at the time of writing. However, it would likely expand its access soon.

After all, more companies are trying to compete with OpenAI. For example, the Chinese tech firm Baidu announced it would release a ChatGPT competitor in March.
