Japan PM Kishida Says G7 Summit Will Discuss ChatGPT

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida confirmed the upcoming G7 Summit would discuss the artificial intelligence program ChatGPT. He told the local news agency Kyodo, “International rules need to be created.” His comment follows the growing worldwide sentiment to regulate AI programs like ChatGPT.

The G7 summit is an annual international forum where seven of the world’s most powerful leaders will discuss global issues. It includes the United States, Germany, Italy, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the European Union (EU).
