IT-BPM firm Pointwest joins HIMAP Awards’ Hall of Fame
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Filipino-owned IT-BPM company Pointwest earned a spot in the HIMAP (Healthcare Information Management Association of the Philippines) Awards Hall of Fame.
It gained the title after bagging the Sarlling Atin Award for the third consecutive year during HIMSCON 2024 (Healthcare Information Management Services Conference).
In response, Pointwest CEO Tech Abcejo-Aguila talked about the company’s commitment to support Filipino talent and drive the health information management industry forward.

“From fence-sitting, a lot of organizations are taking a ‘pilot-and-prove’ stance to being AI/GenAI-ready, Basinang said.
“Two important things that business leaders need to ask in using AI: Know your Whys. The desired business outcomes need to be very clear,” she added.

Since 2022, Pointwest has been the recipient of the Sariling Atin Award for improving the digital capabilities of healthcare organizations locally and globally.
