Apple Invites app makes it easier to plan social events

Apple launched a new app called Apple Invites which helps you create, share and manage event invitations. 

It lets you set up an event by adding a name, time, date and location details.

Also, you can add a pre-set background, use a photo from your library or generate one with Apple Image Playground.

You can invite people by picking your contacts, manually entering phone numbers or email addresses, or sending an invite link. 

Apple Invites allows you to choose whether each person can invite others.

After creating an event, you can also send notes to invitees.

The event shows information via widgets.

One information shows the weather forecast for the event date and the other shows directions via Apple Maps. 

Even better, you can customize your event further by creating a photo album for your friends or adding a music playlist.

Apple Invites is available for free on the App Store.

However, to send invitations, you need an iCloud+ subscription.

Having that subscription adds features like Family Sharing, HomeKit Secure Video, Hide My Email, Private Relay and custom email domains.
