MANILA, Philippines – The SIBOL MLBB Combine concluded today with the starpower of Team Liquid, Aurora Hunters, and Team Falcons on full display. The final roster of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang delegation is expected to be released by next week according to General Manager Jab Escutin.

With the Asian Games looming on the horizon, it’s not just the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team that is expected to finish at the podium to rack up the medals for the Philippines in Nagoya, Japan.

The Filipino squads for Pokémon Unite, Honor of Kings, PUBG Mobile, Naraka: Bladepoint, Identity V, and Puro Puro Champions are expected to give a solid fight in September of this year.

“Success for the Philippines in the Asian Games is minimal. Usually we get a few medals. A bronze and a silver. Golds are very rare and with esports this is really our chance to rack it up,” says SIBOL’s Ralph “Leathergoods” Llabares.

Head coach Alvarado is actually the youngest among the coaches but the veteran cast of supporting coaches are more than excited to work with him.

“Definitely we can provide guidance since the three of us have been competing for quite a while. Definitely on different kinds of approaches. We have different coaching styles so we’ll be able to help each other out. And we are definitely excited to be working on site for the regional qualifiers and the event itself,” adds Glindro

On taking the head coach role, Alvarado just had a few words.
